Established in 1988 in memory of former chapter president Pearle Cramer, the Mount Rainier Music Teachers offer scholarships to their graduating seniors to help them continue their studies.

Carnes Tuition Grant
Designed for students who would otherwise have to discontinue their music studies due to family financial hardship, the Grant covers half of a student’s music tuition for a period of up to 6 months. This grant is available to students of Mount Rainier Music Teachers through the legacy of Muriel Carnes, another former chapter president.
